Business skills are essential for body workers whether in business for themselves or working for others in spa, clinic, or medical settings. Through engaging classroom activities, students learn about business start-up steps, budgeting, record keeping, taxes for the self-employed, marketing, business cards, job applications, clientele building, time management and more. This course boosts the skills and self-confidence required to gain employment or to become an entrepreneur.

Professional ethics involves more than just living life from a place of honor and integrity. Through fun, interactive exercises, this class illuminates the challenging situations that can arise in the client/therapist relationship and prepares students to make informed, ethical decisions in all dimensions of practicing bodywork.

Business and Ethics woven together in this course provides the fundamentals of an ethical massage practice.
